Dodging the RoadkillNashville, Tn — In case you’ve been under a rock for the last year, Nashville Tennessee is officially the new IT city.  I can attest to that first hand.  I owned a condo right in the heart of the entertainment district.  I was two blocks from Lower Broadway, two blocks from The Tennessee Performing Arts Center.  The Ryman Auditorium was just out my back door.

My point being, when you’re an IT city, you’re never at a loss for something to do or something to eat.  From the very popular food trucks, to the street corner hamburger and hot dog vendors, theirs food everywhere.  If you’re in the Music City and go hungry and thirsty, it’s your own damn fault.

About a year ago, we started hearing about all of these fancy hamburger joints.  People love a good burger and these joints always want to show off with THEIR version of a good cheeseburger.

I go with my favorite place, Jack Browns Beer and Burger Joint.  Located near the First Tennessee Park and directly across from Christy Cookies, this little corner of third avenue is putting out one fabulous burger.

They do burgers on the flat top, as it should be, then they dress them like you want it and BOOM! Best burger in town.

I’ve taken many of my motorcycle buddy’s over for a lunch treat of burgers, fries, or the famous sweet potato fries.

But there’s a secret.  They give you this secret sauce that you can use on the burger or dip your frys in it.

It’s to die for.

Their beer selection is off the chain, and they’ve got some video showing, so you should be able to watch the big game.

Pay a visit.  Drink some beer.  But be sure you get the double cheeseburger on the best bun ANYWHERE.

Oh, and don’t forget, for dessert???

Fried Oreole cookie.  Don’t ask, just eat it.

You can thank me later.

This is my favorite burger place in Nashville.
